Friendly Welcome Gaza has been formed by a group of Quakers in response to the heartbreaking situation in Gaza. Our aim is to support Palestinian women and men who are  living in the ruins of Gaza to take up university places in Europe so they can  secure a better future for themselves and their family. 

We are all volunteers. We are united in the belief that every life is precious.

Our work to support Palestinian students has involved building relationships with many others - Quakers in England and Ireland who have direct experience of supporting Palestinians in the Middle East and Europe; friends and supporters from around the world who give time, energy & money to help others; displaced Palestinians who are building new lives in the UKL & Europe; and universities in Ireland & France whose staff have been unfailingly helpful and supportive.
